Grafica Veneta turns 40: the Veneto printing tradition told by Marco Cappelli

Grafica Veneta celebrates its 40th anniversary, strengthening its position among the leading international book printers. Historical podcaster Marco Cappelli, author of Storie d’Italia, hosts “Deep roots are not reached by the frost: the story of the Venetian printing press”, a video podcast and a book dedicated to the Veneto region’s printing heritage, from masters like Aldo Manuzio and the Remondini family through to contemporary publishing.

The narrative follows a journey that, starting in 1985 from a small company in Trebaseleghe, has taken Grafica Veneta to become a global partner for publishers.

Large print runs, ultra‑fast instant books and continuous investment in technology and sustainability showcase a shared growth path with customers and colleagues worldwide, while a carbon‑neutral plant, AI‑driven projects and a 700‑strong team between Italy and the United States are already shaping the next chapters of its story.
